As discussed in our Terms and Conditions, in order to complete cremation arrangements online and to reduce the risk of fraud, Smart Cremation ("Smart Cremation" or "we") must ask you to provide us information about yourself and information about your loved one. In addition to information you provide Smart Cremation, there is information which is automatically gathered by your use of smartcremation.com, such as the Internet protocol, e-mail address, computer and connection information and other similar such information. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect and how we use that information.
Smart Cremation takes the privacy of your personal as well as your loved one's information very seriously and will use your information only in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. In addition to our Smart Cremation staff, we also contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail, and processing credit card payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. We carefully select service providers who share our commitment to the preservation of your privacy.
